Crucero Plaza
You are at a crossroads.
How will you make your choice matter?

This game doesn't have any fancy save features, and doesn't use site cookies. In order to save your position in the story, you have to pay close attention to the page number. The page number can be seen in the URL, in the tab title, or at the bottom of the page in the pagination bar. The page number has five digits. Once you have noted the page number you want to come back to, you can use that page number to load your game.

Loading requires a little bit of effort and memory, but its very quick and straightforward. It simply requires you to write onto the URL. The loading page is blank, and the URL looks like this:

At the end of the URL, you should put a back-slash /, followed by the page number, ######

Altogether, the URL should be like this: https://cruceroplaza.com/page/######

Once you have the URL written out in the address bar, just hit "enter" or "go" and you'll be put back into that page in the story. That is how "loading a save" functions in this game!

This is what a panel looks like.

Dialogue, internal dialogue, and sound effects from the panel will typically be underneath it, like so.

Spoken dialogue has a character name in front of it in bold.

Internal dialogue is in italic.

Sound effects look like -

SPLAT!

- Hey, some weird blue gunk just ended up all over my new boots!

Sometimes whole panels are entirely compromised of text, like this. The same principles apply here.

At the bottom of every page is the pagination bar. The "home" button takes you back to the title screen. The "prev" button takes you to the previous page. The "next" button takes you to the next page. The "load" button takes you to a blank page where you can load the story at any specific page. This button is useful in case you die in the game and would like to try again, or if you would like to jump back in the game where you last left off.

######

As the story progresses, you will eventually be met with some "choices" that you have to pick in order to proceed. The "next" button won't function in these instances. Instead, you have to pick a "choice" and let the story progress from there. When you've made your "choice", the "prev" button will also top functioning. You must commit to your "choice". You may die. If you die, you can hit the "prev" button to go back to the page with your "choices" or the "load" button to pull up a specific page.

The page number will skip during these sections, and only during these sections. They shouldn't skip during normal sections of the story.

If something looks a little strange, curiosity may be rewarded.

If something looks a little strange to me, I have to investigate it ...

Otherwise how am I going to find anything out?

What else is being hidden right under my nose?

I have to pay close attention ...

You're ready to play the game.
